Submitter Shamryu of I N F I N I T Y on Frostmourne (US-H) writes, "We were doing 25-man Dragon Soul, and while we were sitting on the boat waiting to fill a couple of spots, I noticed I could cast Far Sight of the side of the bow. This is what I saw. It's like a ship in a bottle, with a storm in it too ... and 22 very bored Hordies. I don't think Blizzard ever expected someone to try targeting this spell off the side of the ship."

Beta tester Brightfang of Lost Isles was flying to Thunder Bluff when he noticed that Azeroth's second moon has returned to the sky. It's nice to see it back from wherever it went off to when it disappeared from outer space in The Burning Crusade. Unless ... my God. That's no moon. It's a Death Star sent from Bioware's offices to destroy the competition! Evacuate Azeroth!

Around Azeroth Beta Edition: On the objectification of the genus Ailuropoda

Listen, I know we're all used to scrutinizing the mating habits of pandas, but that doesn't mean we all need to orchestrate a scene like this one. After the recent beta patch, submitter Timothy and a group of friends discovered that one of the female pandaren skin color choices seems to be bugged, causing a ... certain lack of containment on the upper torso, as seen in the lady on the right. No, I'm not going to show a screenshot without her arm in the way. Some things you just have to find out for yourself.

Around Azeroth Beta Edition: Which one of you is the evil twin?

"Pandaria is a wonderous place," writes beta tester Ravynshiki. "My beta death knight was happy to finally find a god (she figured the Red Crane must be a god since it has a temple dedicated to it) that wasn't all tentacled and gross. There were no dire threats of doom involved. Instead, the glowy crane was quite a pleasant conversationalist. After they chatted, it struck a pose next to its own effigy and simply looked pretty so she could take pictures."

Around Azeroth: Chivalry is dead

Forget women and children first. Ironwulf of over the hill on Frostmourne (US-A) knows that he doesn't really have to outrun this Fel Reaver. All he has to do is outrun a small draenei girl. Before you criticize him, who's going to complain? Her parents? And if her caregivers allow her to run off with any passing adventurer who clicks on a yellow exclamation point, they probably won't miss her too much. In a world torn apart by war, there's not likely to be a shortage of orphans any time soon.

Around Azeroth: Like butter

A bugged Consecration graphic turned the floor of this Horde training area into a yellow, sticky mess. Even drake mounts are getting caught in the substance, which in the best-case scenario tastes like movie popcorn butter but is probably more like stupid pollen. The only smart creature is the Sleepy Willy in the background, who manages to hover above the chaos -- until he falls asleep, of course. (Thanks to submitter Candace for this screenshot!)

Around Azeroth: Ladies in their sensitivities

Sometimes it's the little things in Azeroth that stand out the most. Not that this huge yeti counts as a little thing. But the tiny pink bow in her hair, combined with her expression of vacant terror, really makes you wonder what her particular backstory is. Is she escaping from the rigid gender roles of the yeti community? Does she just like to make herself look pretty before chowing down on adventurers? The world may never know. "Wandering the wilds of Pandaria, I stumbled across these fat little silkworms," writes beta tester and squishable pet enthusiast Bethany. "When I saw they were beasts, I couldn't contain myself. I had to see if they were tameable, and sure enough they were! So, I am happy to have my own wonderful silkworm companion following me around, gobbling up everything in site. Maybe some day he will be a beautiful butterfly." Well, if you want a beautiful butterfly, there are plenty of those out there to tame. That thing you've got there looks poisonous.

Around Azeroth Beta Edition: Welcome to the jungle

"I was mindlessly running around the Jade Forest the other day, killing random creatures in an attempt to get the hang of my premade draenei monk," writes beta tester Myriana of Staghelm (US-A). "I was in the middle of attacking a talbuk when suddenly she was swimming through air! This lasted for about 20 minutes before I disconnected and logged back in to my poor monk falling to her death." My guess? The pandaren really don't like it when other races co-opt their culture and become monks, so they use their powers to levitate them and then drop them to their doom.

Hey, Anduin Wrynn is the Heir of Slytherin! And he used his dagger and serpents to brutally murder those pandaren lying face-down behind him. I didn't see that plot twist coming. Submitter Michael snapped this shot of the Prince of Stormwind hanging out in Pandaria, where he's apparently decided to learn the ways of the locals and become a neutral quest giver. His dad must just hate that he's talking to Hordies.

Submitter Kyx of Fury of the Storm on Zangarmarsh (US-H) took a break from studying for finals to send in this picture of a rare female orc rogue sighting in the wild. "I always knew that female orcs had the best dance of all time (Editor's note: OF ALL TIME!), but throw in a set of legendary daggers, and you've got yourself a party," she writes. "Just watch the hands, mister."

Around Azeroth Beta Edition: Science fiction double feature

This is the last Enormous Monster beta screenshot for a while, I promise. Submitter Riyahnasheed of Epic on Azuremyst (US-A) and his long-suffering fiancée Zulron set up this druid-related Mystery Science Theater 3000 knockoff after noticing how much an owlbeast fighting a giant moth looks like a trashy horror movie. I truly wish that we could have an MST3K accompaniment for World of Warcraft. It could make pointless grinding and long raids bearable, just like the Twilight movies are only remotely tolerable while listening to the Rifftrax and drinking heavily.
